Gisella is directly involved in the farm by exploiting its agrarian university studies as well as his passion. The farm is run organically, therefore we do not use chemicals such as insecticides or herbicides. We preserve soil fertility by using organic fertilizers such as manure and practicing spontaneous permanent grass in orchards.

Photovoltaic and solar thermal panels installed on both farmhouses roofs produce electricity and hot water also used for conditioning indoor temperatures.

A permanent extensive green roof of succulents plants installed on the owners’farmhouse have the ability to isolate from the high summer temperatures and the winter freeze.

Rain falling on both farmhouses is collected and conveyed into an underground cistern and reused for watering plants.
